I am in the final days of preparation for Wild Imagination’s Panama Explorer 2008 trip. I depart on the fifth of January and fly to Panama City for a night then on the sixth I’m off to Chiriqui for a few days of scouting where I hope to peg down the location of a few highland endemic birds and find a good spot to see the incredible Resplendent Quetzal. On the afternoon of the 9th I return to Panama City, scout the Gamboa area on the morning of the 10th and then meet the first of the group that evening. I’m really excited about the trip. Check back here for updates and look in on the Trip Reports page for the full report and species list around the 22nd of January.
Happy New Years Everyone!
